May our trees be nourished by the living water and not simply the “purified” water of our own choosing or preference.

I have been awake since 3:30A because my heart is so heavy for our local Church. Those are the words that I could not articulate to a congregant about why my heart was so heavy. Now, I know what to say because of you. “The oak trees are not fully rooted and the compassion appears to be gone in our congregations! see it so vividly. Thank you, again! May God continue to bless you and Mrs. McAlilly as you continue to lift our Episcopal District to highter heights.

How is the Lord leading us in this difficulty? How do we stay united as we work through this age and cling to our roots? Are our roots still in Christ? These are things you’ve made me think about. May God’s grace and peace be with you.

Grace and peace
