I like Vida McClure’ s reminder to step ‘out of our box’ . I put that into my prayer for this new year. I hope I can ‘see’, hear and help others on their spiritual journey no matter their age. We all need to be,about our Father’s business. Grace and peace to all.

Reflecting on the 8 to 12 year olds reminds me of why a summer camp experience is such an opportunity to offer faith formation in the midst of God’s creation. We need help as we recruit our children from all walks of life to experience God this summer at Cedar Crest. Thank you to all who help make this possible through the gift of scholarships or by encouraging a child to experience camp.

“reflect on those 8-12 year olds” – might it even be better to reflect on all children in our home? Yes, I realize the Bishop was not leaving others out but we dare not miss that one that is totally different – hears the beat of a different drummer – the one who thinks outside the box. We must get “out of our boxes” to reach others. Just my thoughts! Blessings to all.
