One thing I learned about my journeys to the Holy Land was that the land our Lord traveled while on this earth was not an easy one. Although you certainly wouldn’t have chosen this painful injury to occur, it will probably serve as reminder for some time to come that there is nothing easy about trying to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. But, that doesn’t stop us from picking up our cross daily and trying our best to be faithful. I’m sending prayers of healing on your behalf to God’s throne of grace.
